Accessing Cobra EmailQ: What is Cobra Email, anyway? A: NH Cobras SC uses a web-based email services called SmarterMail to set up email accounts and aliases. The suffix for all cobra emails is: @nhcobrassc.com. Q: Does every club member get a Cobra Email account? A: No. We assign these email addresses to designated club volunteers and representatives to make it easier to manage club communications, and to maintain a professional look for the club. To give them to all club members is not necessary. Q: How Do I Access my Smarter Mail Account? A: (Assuming you indeed have one...) You can directly access the Smarter Mail service by click on this link: You will then be prompeted to enter your username and password. Q: Do I have to log in through the website to retrieve my emails? A: NO! Your email account should have been set up so that it forwards a copy of any nhcobrassc email you receive to your existing email account, such as gmail, aol, fairpoint, etc. Q: What's the difference between an email account and an email alias? A: An email account actually stores your emails on the Smarter Mail server, in addition to sending you a copy. An email alias does nothing more than forward any email sent to your @nhcobrassc.com address to one (or more!) email addresses. This makes it a good option for emails that need to be sent to a number of people, for example you could set up an email alias like This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and have it forward to the emails of all administrators. If you have any other questions or concerns about emails, please use the Contact tab on our site to submit your question to a web administrator! |
